Areas of practice: Mr. Magner is a principal in the labor and employment law department and is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Work for clients: Mr. Magner advises private and public sector clients on a variety of labor and employment issues, including collective bargaining, labor relations, discipline and discharge, layoffs and demotions, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, CORI, discrimination, unemployment benefits, severance and release agreements, the Education Reform Act, school committee policy, and student discipline. Mr. Magner also has experience representing clients in labor and employment matters before the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Massachusetts Superior Court, the Massachusetts District Court, the Massachusetts Division of Labor Relations, the Civil Service Commission, the American Arbitration Association, and the Division of Unemployment Assistance.

Professional activities: Mr. Magner is a member of the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Massachusetts Council of School Attorneys.

Personal/Community activities: Mr. Magner is a member of the Board of Directors for Matthew 25 Inc., a private non-profit corporation that provides affordable housing to low income tenants in Worcester and Boston.

Publications/Presentations: Mr. Magner regularly conducts training seminars for employers on discrimination and harassment avoidance.

Education: Mr. Magner is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Boston College Law School.
